How to use AH Crypt

1Encrypt a single file

1. Go to Home and make sure Encrypt is selected.
2. Drag and drop a file onto the box, or click Select File and choose one.
3. Enter a strong password. You will need this exact password to decrypt later.
4. Click Encrypt Files.
5. Your encrypted file will download with a .fil extension.

2Encrypt a folder

1. On the Home page, select Encrypt.
2. Click Select Folder and choose a folder (or drag and drop multiple files).
3. Enter a password.
4. Click Encrypt Files.
5. One encrypted file will download with a .fol extension. It contains the whole folder.

3Decrypt a file or folder

1. Select Decrypt on the Home page.
2. Choose your encrypted file: a .fil (single file) or .fol (folder).
3. Enter the same password you used when encrypting.
4. Click Decrypt Files.
5. .fil → the original file downloads. .fol → a zip file with all folder contents downloads.

Tips

• Use a strong, unique password. If you lose it, the files cannot be recovered.
• All encryption and decryption happens in your browser. Your files and password are never sent to any server.
• After the page has loaded, you can use the site offline.
